Phase 2 of the project, which involves the closure of Cole Road north of the intersection, began Monday March 20, 2017. The route 7A detour (starting at the Cole and Ustick intersection): right on Cole, right on Northview, left on Milwaukee, left on Fairview and back on regular route. The two regular bus stops that will be closed because of the detour are at Cole Road at Wesley Drive (just south of Fairmont Junior High School) and at Cole/Westwood. A temporary stop will be placed on the north side of Northview just west of the Cole/Northview intersection.
During Phase 2, which is expected to be completed sometime in June, Fairview also will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction near the intersection. This may cause service delays for both the 7A and 7B routes.
